Finding the Perfect House

If you think that finding the right house is dificult you should try finding the right Mortgage. Don’t get me wrong, mortgages are easy to find, a good mortgage on the hand can be a real pain in the butt to find. When my wife and I bought our first house we had to jump through all kinds of hoops to try and get approved and at that time I was making good money and had great credit and it was still dificult. But if you think that mortgages are hard to find imagine how hard it is for people with bad credit to get financed. I couldn’t imagine how dificult it would be to find good Bad Credit Mortgages.
Maybe it is just me but I am one of those people that is very concerned about the interest rates, even more so than what the monthly payment is. I would rather bite it a little bit each montha nd pay a little higher payment if it ment saving a ton of money in the long run. And the long run is exactly what it is. When you buy a house you are going to be paying for that house for a very long time. The average house loan after all is around thirty years. That is a long time to be paying a high interest rate. You would actually be amazed at how much a quarter of a percentage makes on the total money you pay over thirty years. It can be substantial.
So remember the basics when you are out there looking to buy your home. First off it is always a good idea to check out a good Mortgage Calculator before you really get started. That way you don’t spend too much time looking for a house and then get all attached to it and then find out that you can’t afford the payment. That is a horrible feeling. Next thing you know, because you like the house so much you will find that you are trying to talk yourself into how you can do without certain things so that you can afford to make the higher monthly payment. Be carefaul out there or you will find yourself upside down in no time at all.
