A Little Economy Boost

The month of January had a very unexpected rise in the economy. The 0.3 percent increase was led by spending on autos, clothes and gasoline, the Commerce Department said today in Washington. The figure followed a 0.4 percent decrease the previous month. Purchases excluding automobiles and gasoline were unchanged from December. I am not sure if that is enough to keep things going good but it is definitely some good news for now. It at the very least shows that although we are headed towards recession we are not there yet.
