Starting My Own Restaurant

April 11th, 2008 by tad

I have been wanting to start my own restaurant for some time now but I just haven’t had the courage to step out there and get it done. Well that and the large amount of money that it takes to make a restaurant happen. It is actually kind of hard to find a company that will loan you money to start a restaurant as the failure rate in the food industry is actually higher than you would think. I did find a company that would hook me up with the business loans that I need to get going though so I guess now I just have to take the step and see what happens.

April 11th, 2008 by tad

When it comes to your employees in your company no matter what kind of business you are in there is one thing that all employers want. You want to know that your employee is doing the best job they can be doing. The thing is that typically requires an extensive amount of training. That training requires a lot of man hours and staff resources to get each employee properly trained. That is why I am all for at home training. There are companies out there now that offer this. If you are interested in doing something like this you should check with a compute called Resource Bridge. Resource Bridge provides customized computer based training (CBT) and Web based training courses. That means that you can hook up with them to train your employees from home on their own.

Looking for a House

April 11th, 2008 by tad

I feel that it is finally time to buy. I have heard that the market is at an all time low and I am willing to take a chance that it will not drop any further. I have also heard that the average mortgage payment is going to go up in 2008 and I would like to lock in before that happens. I know it is a little bit risky but it is time that I settled back down. Ever since I sold my last house I have been living in rentals and I just hate to throw my money away like that. It is time to step out and hopefully not lose too much in the process.

April 11th, 2008 by tad

What would a good business blog be without the occasional golf post thrown in. I mean let’s face it there is a hug bond between business and golf. I can’t tell you how many deals I have closed on a golf course. The thing is that if you are like me and are interested in closing any deals on a golf course you had darn well better know how to play. That is why there are things out there like USGA golf handicap software that help you to better yourself in the game. You will find that you will improve your game dramatically with the right tools. The better your game teh better the deals you can make and that is money in the bank.

Speaking of Investments

April 11th, 2008 by tad

Speaking of investments I have been searching the property markets across the US and found a couple of sweet deals. I found out that although the housing market is slow in a lot of areas right now, Charlotte, NC is actually on the rise. So now is the perfect time to invest in some Charlotte Real Estate. We are always looking for the right investments at the right time. My wife and I have found that by buying at just the right moment as well as selling at the right time can make you a ton of moeny in a short amount of time. And when it comes to our investments, property has always been a good one. Someone once told me that they best thing that you can invest your money in land, because they are not making any more of it.

The real question is whether we want to get some Charlotte Real Estate in downtown or if we want to get something that is a little more out of town. Although downtown is always a good investment we have also looked into Lake Norman Real Estate as well. That way we have something that is a little bit more out of town and can be used as a nice little vacation home until we flip it down the road.
