Hurricane Gustav is aimed directly at Louisiana and the New Orleans residents are not happy about it. People are already lining up at the bus and train stations to get out of town before this thing hits them. It seems like it is not going to be near as bad as the last one that hit them but with all that these people have already been through I am sure that no one wants to take the chance. I mean after all nothing is worth risking your life for.

I used to actually buy and read books all the time but I have recently found that a great way to pass the time while at work is by listening to an audio book. These things are great because your hands are free to work on your computer as I am right now. They may distract you a little bit but if your boss isn’t too hard to deal with then you will be fine.

I am an avid fan of all sorts of insurance. If there is an insurance you can buy for it, I own it. I guess it is just my cautious side showing through. I mean I have car, boat, home, health, dental and term life insurance. I have every kind of insurance anyone would need for anything. Well just about that is. If you do not have insurance trust me one time that you need it and it is worth every penny.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and he was telling me that he was not feeling to well. So he went to see his doctor and they did all sorts of tests and blah blah blah something about a pulse oximeter. Not sure why I remember that term out of everything he said but I guess it is because I remember thinking what the heck is that and exactly what does it do. Anyone know out there?

Yeah this thing is still going on and after two nights of mixed results, the third night of the Democratic National Convention delivered just what Democrats were looking for: reconciliation between the Obamas and the Clintons, an historic presidential nomination.. Bill came out and delivered a great speech to honor both Obama and his wife. He seemed to put aside all problems that the two families have had and stopped all the bashing between them, at least for now. Personally I think he and Hillary are playing it as safe as possible for her to attempt to rerun in 2012.
