The economy is bad. I don’t care who you are or what you do you are bound to be effected by this rapidly falling economy we are currently in. If you have no money it is probably because of the fact that most Americans have been feeling the effects of this situation for the last few years. It seems that our economic struggles are no effecting far more than just US citizens. After the bailout when unapproved yesterday and the dow jones plummeted stocks in Asia went down as well. The power we hold is unlike any other country and yet we are in a worse financial place than most of the countries that rely on us.

Credit Cards Might Bring Sales Up

September 30th, 2008 by tad

I don’t know about you but I tend to use my credit cards more than anything else. I rarely carry my checkbook on me and using my atm is to difficult. I mean who wants to carry around tons of cash on them for large purchases. I say this because if you are currently in business and do not accept credit cards you are missing out on a huge chunk of business. I know the credit card processing fees can be a little high sometimes but look at it this way. That is business that you probably would not have gotten anyway. After all with credit card fees under 3% you have to still be making a decent profit or you really need to rework your percentages.

I can’t believe it. I mean I am in total shock and disbelief right now. Not only did they vote to not pass the 700 billion dollar bailout due to Nancy’s lame scare the people speech but the dow dropped like mad. 770 something point point drop in a single day. The worst ever single day drop in history and that includes during the great depression. Yeah, uh huh. We surely aren’t in recession. Please. What the heck is going on in congress anyway?
