Face to Face Sales Team

October 30th, 2008 by tad

I just came across the press release and thought I would share it with all of my readers out there. It is about a company called Cydcor and is the leading face to face sales team thing on the market. If you haven’t heard about it before than read this article and make your own opinion. From what I read it sounds pretty damn good to me.

Press Release:

Cydcor Launches Neighborhood Leaders Volunteer Program

Leading global provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams makes it
easy for sales offices to give back to their communities through new program

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (October 22, 2008) – Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams, has introduced its Neighborhood Leaders Program, a new internal program available to Cydcor’s network of sales offices. The program is designed to assist sales offices in supporting their communities through charity and volunteer work.

Cydcor’s network of nearly 200 independent sales offices located across the United States and Canada will be given financial sponsorships and encouraged to donate their time and talent to non-profit, charitable organizations in their communities. Each independent office is eligible to take advantage of Cydcor’s Neighborhood Leaders Program once annually.

“We’re proud of this new program, and Cydcor wants to support the efforts of current and new sales offices,” said Cydcor President Jim Majeski, “Cydcor believes it’s imperative to not only support the communities in which we live and work, but also to support those communities in which the sales offices thrive.”

In addition to the Neighborhood Leaders Program, earlier this year, Cydcor launched a Volunteer Day benefit for its own team members in which people are paid eight hours annually for time they spend supporting a charitable organization of their choice.

“Cydcor is dedicated to supporting team members and sales office charitable ventures and igniting interest in volunteerism, whether it’s financial or a donation of time,” said Jim Majeski, President of Cydcor. “Our goal is that this philanthropic spirit will continue to be instilled in our team members and becomes ingrained in our culture. It is simply the right thing to do.”

What’s With the Obama Show?

October 30th, 2008 by tad

What in the world was that 30 minute Obamathon all about. The whole thing was ridiculous. It was just a completely useless waste of airtime setup for me to be forced to watch his mug talk on multiple major networks, even in spanish. I can’t believe this is where all that money he raised is going. Help the country, stay off my television.

Time for Life Insurance

October 29th, 2008 by tad

I am getting older and am faced with the all time dilemma of acknowledging my own mortality. It is not something that anyone actually ever wants to do but with my family relying on me on a daily basis it is a necessity. That is why I have started looking into getting a term life insurance quote. I guess I have to face the fact that we don’t all live forever and make sure that the family is taken care of if I am gone.

Businesses are Hurting

October 29th, 2008 by tad

My business is doing alright but that is because I sell products that people need not want. I have a friend however that sells products that are more luxury than necessity. He actually sells some pretty cool looking tv lifts. You know the things that make your tv pop up out of the cabinet. Point is that the business world in selling luxury items right now is really on the way down. I hope things turn around real fast or he may be in some real trouble.

No Signal in the Office

October 29th, 2008 by tad

I have this warehouse with tin walls and a whole bunch of noisy equipment. In it I get great cell phone reception. The problem is that the equipment is so loud that I can’t hear anything. The office attached to it is the complete opposite though. Dead quiet and brick walls with crappy signals. I think I might need to look into some sort of cell phone repeater to bounce the reception into the office. Any other thoughts?
