I don’t know if anyone else has seen this article but this is astounding. It appears that Senator Obama has managed to raise more than 150 million dollars in the month of September alone. This is insane. I have never heard of any candidate raising that kind of money before. It is a record shattering amount of money and I am sure that he is going to use most of it on commercials slandering his opponent.

With all of these economical issues going on my company decided to downsize thus causing immediate job less to me and several others. Thinking that it would be okay as I could go work somewhere else, I set myself out in the job finding world only to find that its an awful place. Jobs are way down and there are more seekers than jobs out there. It has been a couple months now and bills are getting past due. This might be much more of an issue than I originally though. I hope the economy changes soon.

Even though the economy is bad there is still a lot of normal things going on in most businesses. I guess what I mean is that not all businesses are feeling the effects of the economical crunch. I was talking to a friend the other day and he was getting ready to head off to Vegas for a corporate retreat. That would be a nice retreat, I mean have you seen those las vegas suites, some of them are incredible.

I am happy to say that gas prices are way down. Gas prices where I am here in Northern Florida have actually dropped over a dollar in the last month. That is substantial no matter who you are. The prices are not as cheap as we would all like but with the way things are going I am sure that they are going to continue to fall. Who knows by the time we have pumpkin pie out on the table for Thanksgiving they might get under $2 per gallon. Now that would be something worth talking about.
