Although car manufacturers are shutting down across the country not all car companies are closing their doors. It seems that Fisker Automotive, a company who specializes in electric cars, is actually expanding. They are currently looking into purchasing and old GM plant in Wilmington, DE. $200 million is a lot of cash to put out, but it seems they can afford it. If you live in that general area and possibly worked at that old plant you might have a chance at a job with the new company given your experience. Get out there and get your resume in early and good luck with the job hunting.

I just found this really cool site called Learn.com. It is full of all sorts of great online classes you can take to get a job, or if you already have a job then to get a better job. Let’s face it, out of everyone in the workforce today how many do you think are actually working their ideal dream job. I know I’m not and I would estimate that a good portion of America is not either. Personally, I would love to be a video game designer. I have been into video games since I was a little kid and even today I have refused to give up my addiction. To get paid to actually design those games, that would be a dream come true for me.

That is why I have looked into a few ways of Elearning so to speak that could help me get one step closer to my dream. I have been in graphic design my whole life and if I could learn some more about 3d modeling and rendering than I might just have a shot at my dream job. I was once told that if you love your job than you really never work a day in your life. I believe that to the fullest.

I found out that yesterday Obama was in Jacksonville, FL speaking to all of the soldiers at NAS Jax. Now, I’m not completely sure what the rest of his schedule includes but shouldn’t he be back at the white house actually doing something with his Presidency. It seems like he spends more time out and about meeting with people and visiting in an attempt to assure everyone that he is doing a good job but I have yet to see any actual change happen. It’s been a year and things are still just as bad as the day he took office…..where is the change??????

I was just reading this really interesting article about how there are a huge amount of people all over London that actually have fold up bicycles that they ride home every day. They get on these bikes, ride them to the tube (or train as we would call it) fold their bikes up and carry it on with them. They then get off the tube and unfold these bikes and ride them to their workplace from there. It is a crazy concept but yet very practical. Apparently, the man who created these fold up bikes started his business back in the seventies and it has only grown more and more each year. Since 2000 to know it is said that the amount of these London bikers has more than doubled. That is a major change in itself. Can you imagine coming up with one really good idea and turning it into a real thing that produces more than $20,000,000 in sales every year. I don’t think it would get much better than that right there. I wonder how many other Undiscovered Business Entrepreneurs like this guy are out there just waiting for their invention to be made the next big thing. I certainly wish I could come up with something like that to live off of the rest of my life.
