Home Insurance Going Up

October 23rd, 2009 by tad

I have been hearing lately that there are some real changes going on with some of the companies providing house insurance in the state of Florida. Apparently there is some sort of drop in coverage that has a lot of home owners rather scared for the safety of their home security. I think that with all of the things going on in the economy and the US in general right now this is really the last thing that we all need to be worrying about. Then again, how can you feel safe about your business, job and family when your home may be in jeopardy. It is a tough position for all to be in.

Always Look Your Best

October 23rd, 2009 by tad

In business it only makes sense to always look your best. Whether you are a salesman or a VP of Operations for a major company you know that when you go to work you should look your absolute best at all times. You represent your company no matter where you are. That is why I am all for people doing whatever they need to do to accomplish that goal. Whether it is weight loss pills or Plastic Surgeons. I know it sounds vain, but if you like the way you look you will be more confident and therefore be a better person overall not just in appearance.

AIG is doing what??????

October 23rd, 2009 by tad

AIG who received a huge government bailout and then was highly criticized for giving away a ton of that money to its executives in bonuses just announced some interesting news today. Apparently, they are paying $12.1 million in retention awards to some top executives. What in the world is wrong with this company. I can only hope that anyone who uses their services boycotts this pig like behavior and finds a new company who better represents them and supports the economic crisis in a good way.

Insurance in Other States

October 23rd, 2009 by tad

I have to make a trip to Washington next week and I think I may be staying for more than a month. I have a friend who is going to let me borrow a car while I am there but I think it is only fair that I help him by covering the insurance costs of the vehicle and any gas of course while I am there. I am not sure how much spokane car insurance costs but it can’t be more than I am paying now. I am crashing at his place as well so overall my trip expenses will be very low in comparison to a normal trip.
