If you are not in business right now than I have to say that you are in a good place. The small business market is not looking good. Especially if you are trying to get your name out there. If you have some money are looking into starting a business the only thing that I can recommend right now is looking into franchises. That is the way to go. The name is well known and people go there as it is established. Better than starting from nothing and well worth the franchise fees.

When building a company website there are many important factors that most people overlook. It is important to get things done right the first time, especially on the internet. Once you put something out there on the net it is there to stay so do it right so no one sees your mistakes. This applies of all aspects of the website that you are creating. Most people think of the obvious things like design. Well of course, I mean after all, that is what everyone sees. But sometimes it is not just about what people see so much as it is about what the search engines see. If the search engines don’t see your site than people don’t see your site. They do a search for your product or services and your company website never even comes up on the list. That is why the backoffice side of the website is so important. Things like hosting, a proper domain and especially search engine optimization. That is probably the most important of all, but they all play their parts. You have to have a good catchy domain, and very reliable hosting. Then you have to make sure that the search engines love you so you pop up on top of the search results. New Cell Phone Provider

Well, for all you cell phone junkies out there I just heard that there is another new cell phone provider that is just hitting the market. They are called Tabrio Mobile (Beta) and from what I can tell they offer some great features. I mean they have affordable global text messaging, global contact management, and affordable long distance. Reviews so far from their beta testing program look good, so I guess we will have to see. Who knows they could be the next AT&T. Okay maybe that is a bit much but they could be the next small thing for now and work their way up I guess.

Their are tons and tons of ways to advertise your business. You can do all sorts of things but let’s face it, most of them are probably not going to work. Or at least they are not going to be as effective as other methods. So why not start with methods that are proven to work so you are not waisting your startup money for no return on your investment. That is why I always start a new company with a new website and then look into some search engine marketing to get that website as much across the internet as possible. Getting my name out there for all to see. It’s always worked for me so you should give it a try.

Spying on the Competition

Alright, so here is the deal. I have just setup a new office location at this older office complex. It is a nice place and so far I think I will be able to do some really good business there. After all that is all you can really want from any office location. The thing is that I have noticed my neighbors are a little shady. They come and go at all hours of the night and are doing god knows what there. I mean it is an office, what are they doing there after midnight? It makes me curious, okay more than just curious, and I am not exactly known for letting my curiosity fade. So I went out and picked up some inexpensive Night Vision binoculars and decided I am going to find out what they are up to. Sneaky them? Sneaky me!

Maybe Opening a Restaurant

I have been looking into several different business options lately. I have looked into franchises and other things as well and although sometimes a good name is worth paying for I am not convinced that I have found one yet that I am completely happy with. That is why I think I am going to open my own restaurant and it will at this point most likely be an independent restaurant. All I need to do is to pick a location and get myself some really nice restaurant furniture that makes the place really pop. It may be a bit of a rocky start but I am pretty sure that most restaurants are.
