Watch flying in the Board Room

April 8th, 2008 by tad

Alright so I was in the board room the other day giving a nice little powerpoint presentation. All was going well until I turned to point to the projection screen and my watch fell off. It didn’t just fall off though, it fell right into the boss’ glass of water. It splashed everywhere and got all over my notes. It was very embarrassing and needless to say it is time for a new watch. As I am a big seiko fan I started looking through he different websites that sell seiko watches and I found the coolest new watch. It is a Two Tone Kinetic Arctura Chronograph Blue Dial and I have to say that this thing is bad looking. It is reasonably priced and I am going to get one right away.

Finding the Right Office Space

March 26th, 2008 by tad

When setting up new business there are a lot of factors that have to be worked out. One of those factors is where that new business is going to go. Where do you set the office up that makes the most sense for the type of business that you are doing? Well, I wanted to open a new office in Texas last month and I had to find myself a good place and not knowing the area didn’t help much at all. So I did a search on Austin Office Space and came across a company called BusinesSuites. They are a company that offers modern executive suites and fully-furnished offices with flexible terms on a smart “pay-per-use” basis. A company like that is perfect for what I needed and may be just what you need as well.

Company Website Running

March 21st, 2008 by tad

There are a lot of different ways out there to get your business known. There are only a couple though that i know of that really work effectively. One of those is to get your own company website up and running as soon as possible. Anytime I have opened a new company I actually get my website setup and running long before the actual doors to the business ever open. I have multiple company websites so I can actually put them all together on a shared web site hosting plan that saves me some money. I do this though because the internet usually takes a little while to get your website up and running and listed on all of the major search engines. Once it gets listed my doors are open and am I making sales. It works that simple and is very cost effective for the return.
