Filing Bankruptcy in New York

June 4th, 2008 by tad

I have a friend of mine is really going through a tough time right now. He has really been struggling with how slow the market has been and although he lives in New York, the truth is that it is pretty slow there as well for them. The point is that he contacted me recently and asked me if I know any good lawyers or any information about bankruptcy law in New York in general. Now the truth is that I don’t really know that much about it at all, but I have heard of a guy named Richard S. Feinsilver, ESQ who knows quite a bit about it and can probably help him out. So I suppose I will send him his way. That has to be a hard thing to go through, so it is always good to have someone who knows their stuff to help you out.

Know Your Credit

May 24th, 2008 by tad

I just came across this article about your being a target for credit fraud while you are traveling. As I travel alot I found this very interesting and really looked into it. This article is very important for any people who travel to read but also for others as well as anyone could be the target of credit fraud at any time. It does not take much information to mess up someone’s credit. Something as simple as digging through one’s mail could provide bad people with just the amount of information they need to destroy your credit.

That is why I have always believed it is important for everyone to know their credit. Always keep close tabs on your current credit status and credit history. I actually subscribe to a credit monitoring service that watches it for me and alerts me if any changes or inquiries are made. It is for that reason that I feel everyone should subscribe to some sort of credit card fraud protection plan, that helps them if this does happen. Like I said before, know your credit.

Press Release:

It goes without saying that when you are going away on holiday, the main your aim is to relax and have a good rest. Just imagine: the sun, new impressions, nice company, interesting events… And the last thing that you want to think about is a credit card fraud. Unfortunately, today it is a real risk. On the one hand, plastics provide people with numerous benefits like having money. On the other hand, they are a desirable target for identity thieves and scammers. Unfortunately, many people know how to avoid credit card fraud on holiday.
Plastics can be rather useful and even necessary while traveling. First of all, having a credit card is safer than carrying annoying cash in your wallet. Besides, you will have an opportunity to keep track of your expenses and have funds in case of emergencies.
Today many credit card issuers provide customers with special travel insurances such as, travel accident insurance, baggage insurance and flight delay insurance. They will protect you from many troubles that you can face.
If your credit card is stolen or lost during your traveling, you will be able to use the option of emergency credit card replacement. Your credit card company will send you a new card by express mail. As a rule, there is no fee for this service.
So, while traveling people become less careful. And it is their main mistake that can bring troubles.

Personal Loan Time

May 15th, 2008 by tad

Well times have been pretty tough lately. Even with the bonus tax refund the president is giving out the fact of the matter is that we are still in recession. This has caused some serious financial hardship on people which in turn causes business for people like me who offer luxury services to dwindle as well. This has caused the bills to go way behind and where before I could go out and get a decent loan I am now going to have to rethink my entire financial situation. I have gotten to the point where I am going to have to go out and look for Personal Loans for Bad Credit just to try and get some of my debts taken care of. I sure hope this recession turns around quickly.

A Relief from Debt

May 13th, 2008 by tad

If there is one thing that I think everyone is always in need of it is Debt Relief. Debt is one of those things that everyone has but nobody wants to talk about. Personally I don’t mind talking about it at all. I think if sharing what I know about credit cards, loans, bills and balance transfers can help someone else to break the debt barrier and free themselves from the prison we call borrowing I am always willing to help.

I have been in and out of debt pretty much all of my life. If it is not one thing it is another. All is going well and I am debt free, then I lose my job and we are back in debt. A year goes buy and all is good again and a family member gets sick and needs to borrow a bunch of money for medical bills, and back in debt again. It is the same story all across the country with different families. It happens to everyone and that is what makes Debt Relief so important. When those things happen and you find yourself or your family in trouble it is always good to know that there are people out there who can help to fix things and get your finances back on track.

Consolidate Your Credit Card Debt

May 6th, 2008 by tad

If you are anything like me, than you are probably up to your ears and debt and sick of it. I have over 20 credit cards that have balances on them right now and the multiple payments are getting real hard to keep up with. At this point some Debt Relief would be real nice. I just want to make sure that I go with a company that will help me to consolidate my debt and not try to settle my debts. There is a big difference between settling debts and debt consolidation, especially in the world of credit.

When you settle your debts, what you are doing is contacting the credit card companies and telling them that you are unable to make the monthly payments anymore and do not have the money to pay the debt that you owe them. You then try to work with that company to settle the debt that you owe by offering them a reduced amount of the total due to get them to write off the difference and call it even. What some people may not realize is that this will destroy your credit for years to come.

When you consolidate your debt however, you can take out a single loan for the entire amount owed to pay off all of your debt thus eliminating all of the monthly payments and turning it into one big loan on a longer payoff plan. Thus lowering the monthly payment substantially making it easier to keep track of your payments and being able to afford your payment. This is what I call Credit Card Consolidation. Your are in essence consolidating all of your credit cards down to one loan. This is what I am looking to do right now.
